“Follow The Drinking Gourd” was a song that the slaves sang to keep up their soul and to send secret messages. The drinking gourd was a constellation that looked like a drinking gourd.If they followed the drinking gourd, they would be led  to freedom. Also the song “Wade In The Water” had a secret message too.While they followed the drinking gourd they had to take a river straight down a path; which was why the song said wade in the water. These secret codes in these songs led the slaves to freedom.

 I like to communicate with my family and friends.my mom isn’t in the technology stuff so she just writes. I love to call, text, and Skype to my sister. And my Brothers just like to text. This is                                  how my family communicates.

 Also people can communicate in many different forms. For example, Twitter, Facebook, Cellphone, Texting, Notes, Rocks, Gmail, etc. People used to put a note on a rock and throw it. Then they started using phones. Now it’s Facebook.

 I think communication through Facebook is not as famous as it was back then. The reason why is because now there is so much new websites to communicate through now. Why do you think writing became kind of old fashion? It’s because new things come.

 But now we started having problems with our system of communication. For example, Cyber bullying. Cyber bullying has affected many kids by their emotions; some have even killed themselves because of cyber bullying! So just for some advice, please inform a teacher or an adult if you see or are being                                       abused by cyber bullying.

 Today, the world has found so much ways of communication; from the oldest to the most new ways of communication have made life easier. Communication is now so important it has become part of our daily lives. These are some opinions and                                      facts of communication.
